The New Cumberland Fire Department relies on the publics' contributions to provide emergency services. There is no charge for our services... we are an all volunteer service. But it costs money to run a fire department. For example, a new Fire Engine costs about $250,000.00. Gear to outfit a firefighter costs around $2,000.00.
While we do receive help from the Borough of New Cumberland, and from the various fundraisers we hold, those monies only begin to cover the cost of running a fire department.
So, any donations you make are much appreciated. Donations made to the New Cumberland Fire Department are deductible on your income tax, and it helps us help you.
